WHO TAUGHT YOU IN YOUR JOURNEY AS AN ARTIST?

WHO TAUGHT YOU IN YOUR JOURNEY AS AN ARTIST?

What would you prefer...Artist's who were taught by experience in the industry or a you tube artist alone infront of a camera self taught in their bedroom?

Techniques can be learnt easily step by step, but experience passed down is where the magic is..

For me...online is not what human experience is, I can't cross polinate my learnings. Books are written about the greats through out history, their association to each other... I love reading Art History, its home to me... Through out Art History the greats mentor the up and coming at art colleges and workshops face to face....

What do you think?

Do you believe the association of artists makes a difference ?

What lengths have you gone too to learn theories and techniques in your life? What countries have you travelled too? With who and where?

I wouldn't want to learn online via you tube etc, you miss out on sooo much, and its also losing the community vibe.

What books will be written about you tubers learning from one another in their bedrooms? I can see them already and the stories are so boring...man Im glad I have lived a colourful life with so many Rocking artist's in my time , -The art movement isn't experienced in alone infront of a camera in a bedroomXX
