Denis Dutton: A Darwinian theory of beauty

https://www.ted.com/playlists/256/new_ways_to_think_about_beauty

This is a talk by Denis Dutton who breaks down our societies constructed beauty theories whilst exploring the Darwinian theory of beauty. He fleshes this topic out explaining beauty is not in the eye of the beholder, it is with in us, handed down from our ancestors.

My debate to Denis would be:

'If we look at how human behaviour it seems our ancestors 'set the stage' first. Now over the course of history we are all conditioned because of them. History is repeating itself?

We know that humans are known to be the only living species on earth, who can adapt to extreme change for survival. So have we merely just adapted to the world taking with us the human memories of our ancestors?

A conditioned DNA Memory?

, and its too late to reverse.
