LIZ SHARP
Liz Sharp (aka L.V.S) is the Founder and Owner of LVSHOME, She is also an established Australian Visual Artist specialising in Make-up, Hair, SPFX, and Body Art within the Entertainment Industry as a part of her research as an Artist
Liz Sharp (also known as L.V.S) is the Founder and Creative Director of LVSHOME and an established Australian visual artist working across the entertainment and creative industries. Her multidisciplinary practice spans make-up, hair, special effects (SPFX), and body art, which form an integral part of her ongoing research and expression as a visual artist.
Liz began her formal training in 1996, earning a Diploma of Make-Up for Film and Television from the Sydney 3-Arts Make-Up Centre. She later completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Painting) at the Australian National University School of Art, grounding her technical expertise in a strong fine-art foundation.
Since 2006, Liz has been actively involved in education side of the industry, teaching across multiple institutions and contributing to the development and updating of industry-relevant course programs. Her commitment to mentoring and knowledge-sharing has supported the next generation of creative practitioners.
Throughout her career, Liz has worked extensively within the creative industries, collaborating with highly regarded visual artists, directors, photographers, producers, designers, actors, models, and leading make-up, hair, and SPFX professionals. She is widely respected for her advanced technical skill in colour, meticulous attention to detail, and concept-driven approach.
Liz’s work as a creative director and make-up artist is regularly featured across advertising, film, television, fashion, and editorial platforms. She is highly regarded for her contributions to fashion films, music videos, film and television productions, theatre, body art, and special effects, as well as for her role as an educator and mentor within the industry.
In 2017, Liz was awarded Make-Up Artist of the Year, and she has received multiple awards throughout her career for excellence in make-up, hair, and SPFX design.
With a broad and evolving creative practice, Liz’s work also extends to painting, sculpture, photography, retouching, styling, and tattooing, positioning her as a true multimedia artist.
